chalcedony

its chalcedony! original corrupted gem adopted from sariasong64. on the left is how she is now, and to the right is how she was before the light bomb corrupted her.

she was a weather oriented gem, and went with scouting gems to scope out environments better than any technology they had. with her cloud hair, she was able to sense the winds' movements at any time, and with her super sensitive thin skin she was able to feel temperature drop or rise by even one degree.

unlike her fellow run of the mill chalcedonies, she was specially made to possess more power, an experiment. with the powers she gained, she was promising, but the risk was too great to continue the experiment, especially after those running the kindergarten and specifically overseeing her growth noticed her deficiency.  

her gem grown on her forehead, it was too far away from her legs to be able to form them properly, and evne now they are too weak to hold any purpose. to travel, she lets her legs deform into a cloud, and she floats along upon it, using her weapon (a cane) to move herself along like she was rowing a boat. in her Fun New form she has paws to move her along the ground, and she cannot form hind legs. chalcedony has also always been very physically weak.

chalcedony was a usually cheery gem despite her unfortunate predicament, and she would always do her best to perform well on missions she was sent on. her enthusiasm was often met with a cold and clean-cut response from her superior. 

when sad, her cloudy hair or mane (depending on form) will begin to rain a translucent lavender liquid that disappears seconds after touching a surface. when angry, her hair will storm up and become notably darker. in her corrupted form, instead of purring when she feels happiness, her mane will thunder gently.
