yellow sapphire

a 'sapphire' who probably should've been a ruby. coming out with the appearance of a sapphire but the strength and aptitude of a ruby, life has been confusing for her so far. yellow sapphire is very intelligent, and aside her duties for yellow diamond, taught herself how to work with technology. specifically, she has been secretly tinkering with and modifying flask and shattering robonoids, and creating her own variations. her robonoids are not used for repair like peridot's, but rather as remote mines that will reassemble after destructing.

yellow sapphire is quite blunt and cold, but it comes from being raised as a sapphire and having her true personality compressed into the shape it was supposed to be. underneath her stern and serious exterior is a bumbling bright ruby style corundum.

formally, yellow sapphire is a seer sent for yellow diamond however, truly she is a rogue and exists for her own ideals in the kindergartens beneath homeworld, where she fits in truly with other off-colors as someone who doesn't belong.

although labelled a 'seer', yellow sapphire doesn't possess abilities like that of any sort. she's managed to get through life maintaining the facade that she does by sheer luck and clever answers at a moment's notice. as a ruby type corundum with only the outside appearance of a sapphire, her abilities are more based in brute strength and fast thinking.

you may notice her palette is very similar to another character of mine, yellow corundum's, and that's because they were made from the same vein. conversely to this sapphire, corundum came out as a ruby despite being meant to be born a sapphire.
